In Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, Yah gives clear instructions about which animals are considered clean and unclean. When it comes to birds, the Torah lists those that are unclean, but not all clean birds are specifically named.
Ducks arenāt mentioned directly ā so the question arises: Are ducks biblically clean or unclean?
š Some believe ducks are clean because they resemble clean birds like geese.
š Others point out that ducks are often scavengers, which could place them in the unclean category. ( although they scavenge for live animals instead of dead)

What do you think? š§
Letās explore Scripture together and share insights below!
If the only reason that makes them unclean is because of scavaging, then we have to throw out a lot more too. Chickens is a big one. I believe the reason the birds mentioned are because they are animals that will eat dead carcasses and carry much more bacteria/ disease because of that. From the list given, that is the most logical and sensible conclusion I have came up with as to why what is clean and unclean.
Itās seems like they are. They have a crop like other birds that are clean ā which fits the ideas Yah says other animals are or are not clean.
