In Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, Yah gives clear instructions about which animals are considered clean and unclean. When it comes to birds, the Torah lists those that are unclean, but not all clean birds are specifically named. Ducks aren’t mentioned directly – so the question arises: Are ducks biblically clean or unclean? 👉 Some believe ducks are clean because they resemble clean birds like geese. 👉 Others point out that ducks are often scavengers, which could place them in the unclean category.
